Number of 521 APs supported by CCA?

Q. How many 521 AP (standalone mode) can be supported on the Cisco Configuration Assistant? Some documentation says 3 on other says 10. Just want to provide a correct solution for the client.

A: It used to be 3 standlone APs with CCA, and 6 with one controller or 12 with two controllers. But with CCA 1.8, the number of standalone APs increased to 10. There is also an increase in the number of APs supported with a single controller. We'll check with Maryanna Gundall - the moderator of this forum - to see if the controller software has been released yet.

I have this problem too.

CCA 1.9 supports upto 10 AP521s in autonomous or standalone mode and upto 12 AP521s per WLC 526 controller in cluster mode (this requires Mobility express software 5.2 on the WLC526 as well).

CCA releases prior to 1.9 supported 3 AP521s in autonomous or standalone mode and 6 AP521s per WLC526 controller.
