Reg:broad band link fail over

Dear sir,

One of my customer is looking for router wichich will support broad band and leased line.

He was having 2 broad bands (ADSL) and one leased line (V.35) now he was planing to connect the 2 broad bands and leased line in single router and he want to do the load balance and link fail over.

He was having cisco 2821 router and adsl cords how can i configure the router.

Hello Srini,

the routing part is easy:

you use multiple default static routes and if the same AD is provided you perform load balancing otherwise you build a hierarchy.

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 ser0

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 dialer1 200

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 dialer2 200

the most complex part is about NAT if the links are from differen providers
