Recovery procedure of a FWSM

i couldn't find any recovery procedure in the documentation, that tells me, how to get a replaced (fresh) FWSM to work as quick as possible.

As far as i can see, we have to create all that vlan1 stuff, create interfaces and so on, to get the previously saved startup-config back to the replaced FWSM via network. Is there any way to shorten that procedure, e.g. to leave a FWSM config copy on the switch and transfer it internally to the startup-config?

So i'm actually looking for the shortest way possible, to get a fabric new FWSM to work after the old damaged one got replaced.
