NVRAM Verification Failed

I am recieving the NVRAM Verification Failed message when trying to save the routers running configuration to startup configuration. On a Cisco 3845 Router.

I have tried to compress the config and also erase the nvram and try again.

If I do a show startup-configuration, then I can see the changes are begin saved, however I would like to know how to resolve the NVRAM Verification Failed error.

You need to RMA that unit, sorry. Even if cosmetic only, it should not happen as indicates an HW problem. However, if the TAC is aware of an IOS fix, they would advise you when researching the case.
