Asa 5505 Lost Image Need Help

I went to do an er start and deleted the image and now can only go into romon> .

I did not have a back up image so i downloaded the asa802-k8.bin file but now i do not know how to get the image back on the device. can anyone help?

You need to tftp an image to the ASA in rommon mode, it will then boot that image. You then need to tftp an image into the flash - then it will load normally.

Andrew--

I have the same problem, but can't fund documentation of TFTP from ROMMON mode for the ASA 5505. I believe I have everything set up correctly, the E)/1 shows up, but no contact to the TFTP server and I cannot ping .1 from .2-- any ideas what to do next?
