CUOM 2.1 and VMWARE

Dear folks,

anybody knows if the CUOM, CUSM and CUSSM could be deployed ond a virtual server like VMware 2.5.0?

Yes you can deploy the CUOM, CUSM and CUSSM on virtual server like VMware.

Why CUOM 2.1?

CUOM 2.3 fixes a lot of issues for me.

And probably best each application on a seperate server.

The agent used by CUSSM to get the data from the application can't run on a default port when the CUOM and CUSM are together.

Documentation doesn't mention how to change this in such way that it gets discovered in the CUSSM.

Michel,

SSM should be able run on same server as OM and SM (coresident deployment). During install, SSM auto checks for port conflicts. Installer will not allow you to continue if ports needed by SSM are not free/available.

No need to edit any config file in OM, SM or SSM. You may include screenshots of errors you are getting if you are still having issues. Thanks!
