Hi,
I have a simple connection between two sites... one router on both sides.
I would like to configure IP SLA to monitoring the Packet Loss. If the Packet Loss is so high, I would like to redirect the traffic to another destination.
Can anyone show me a simple configuration about that or a better way to do it?
Thanks so much
Tauer

Hi Tauer,
This is one I built in my lab for voice, but you can change the variables easily.
Sending side:
ip sla monitor 3
type jitter dest-ipaddr 172.16.1.2 dest-port 16384 codec g711ulaw codec-numpackets 30
tos 184
frequency 10
ip sla monitor schedule 3 start-time now
ip sla monitor 4
type jitter dest-ipaddr 172.16.35.5 dest-port 16386 codec g711ulaw codec-numpackets 20
tos 184
frequency 5
ip sla monitor schedule 4 start-time now
Receiving side:
ip sla monitor responder
R3#sh ip sla moni stat

Hi nick,
In this scenario did you set the amount of packet loss?....
I mean, when the circuit loss an specific amount of packets, the router redirect the traffic to another way...etc
Thanks

You might want to investigate Cisco's OER/PfR.
