DFM and SNMP

hey folks, I'm looking through the guide for DFM and I'm seeing things such as SNMPV3 Auth/Priv isnt supported only AuthNOPriv...Is there any way around this??? My SNMP config in CS is for SNMPV3 auth/priv...

If you need to manage devices with DFM, you will need to use v3 authNoPriv for your SNMP credentials in DCR. Support for authPriv is coming in DFM 3.1.2 which should be out by next month.

sorry, had one more question...you wouldnt happen to have a readme doc for 3.1.2 do you? or something I could reference that outlines the support for auth/priv

It has not been published yet. You'll find a hint of it if you search Cisco.com, but you will not be able to read it. It will be published when DFM 3.1.2 is released.


The following will be supported:


Auth: MD5, SHA

Priv: DES, AES128


All other privacy algorithms will not be supported.
