CME very simple design question

I am currently working on a call manager express 4.2 setup.

My client has emailed me a requirement for his site's deployment.

Here is his requirement:

When customer calls 5545-8220, 5545-8206 rings.

If 8206 is busy then, 8205 rings.

If 8205 is also busy, 8204 rings.

if 8204 is also busy, send back busy tone to caller.

When customer calls 5545-8001, 5545-8205 rings.

8206 rings 4th, 8204 rings 5th.....

Those are two senerios that he mentioned. Now, my question is, do i create some sort of hunt grou, if so, how?

or do i just create some type of call forward all set? Please help.

Thanks

Nice, very nice. Thanks for replying and sending me the link. Below once again are my two senerios and below that are the configuration for each senerio. I put in quotes my final questions to get my config setup correctly. Please advise on what I should do next to solve my config.

1. When customer calls 5545-8001, 5545-8205 rings.

8206 rings 4th, 8204 rings 5th.....

ephone-hunt 1 sequential

pilot 8001

list 8205, 8206, 8204

final ?

max-timeout 10

timeout 20, 20, 20

(How do i get the hunt group to dial 8205 and then on the 4th ring go to 8206, and then on the 5th ring go to 8204. Also, they want it to ring busy after 8204, what do i do for it to ring busy after the final hunt.)

2. When customer calls 5545-8220, 5545-8206 rings.

If 8206 is busy then, 8205 rings.

If 8205 is also busy, 8204 rings.

if 8204 is also busy, send back busy tone to caller.

ephone-hunt 2 sequential

pilot 8210

list 8250, 8251, 8253, 8320

final ?

( this one is pretty straight forward, but how do I get it to dial busy after the final hunt list. I guess i could just put any number their that goes no where, but is their a better method)

Thanks

Hi, you could use a script fo mine for the final number: http://pbevila.fastmail.fm/public/disconnect.tcl

That will give you the option to play a message before disconnecting.

Thank you very much. I think for this setup, i will keep it simple. But I will say, i am keeping your little script for future use.

I need to finalize my hunt group settings. Here are my final questons. It is in regards to the following:

ephone-hunt 2 sequential

pilot 8210

list 8251, 8250, 8253

final 9999

Question 1. 8250 and 8253 need to light up and not ring in the hunt group? Is this possible, if so, how?

Question 2. I still need to figure out once the final Hunt number in the Group is not picking up or is busy, we want the customer to get Busy tones. How do I accomplish this?

Thanks,
