CUCM 7.0 Cannot start 'A Cisco DB' service.

Hi folks,

Not having much luck with one. Can anyone suggest anything?

Cannot start 'A Cisco DB' service on Publisher, error message is 'Component is not running A Cisco DB[NOTRUNNING]'.Also cannot login to CCMAmin on Pub either.

I have this problem too.

Is this a new installation?

When did it happen or when was it first noticed?

Is there any change in the network at that time?

Have you changed the IP address or hostname?

New install-yes

First noticed when I applied latest CCM patch

No change in network

Changed hostname of Pub (which is ok with CCM7).

I resolved it by entering the Publisher's IP address into the Sub's through CLI.

I have the same issue. Did you log into the CLI on the publisher and update the IP address?
