RTCP Sender Reports Feature

Hi,

I am using Cisco 7940/60 ip phones, curious to know if they support RTCP Sender Reports Feature.

Also if i can get the phones which supports and which doesn't.

if you go to CCO, look for

RTCP Sender Reports

and then on left side choose

Cisco Unified IP Phones 7900 Series (62)

you'll get all of them, please try searching CCO as all the info is already there if you take a couple of minutes and search

the phones you mention do not support it

The 7940/60 phones do not support RTCP. It's a matter of available memory in the phones, and they just didn't have enough memory to program in the RTCP code. They use their own methods to calculate. In some call flows, the CUCM or CME will often generate the RTCP for the phones.

Hope this clarifies a bit.
