You won't find much documentation within Cisco for VRRP for obvious reasons, thus I'm going to refer you to a third party book:
In short, the VRRP hold down timer is not configurable and it equals 3 times to advertisement interval.

For example, if i configure the vrrp advertisement interval to be 2 sec, it will set the master-down timer to 6 seconds. Is it correct?
Yes.

Hi Sarah,
It roughly (advertisement int x 3) + 0.6 secs
eg: if the interval is 2 secs, holdtime is approx 6.6 secs .
You can see this in the example here.

Thanks a lot Edison!
In hsrp, the hello time is 3 sec and hold down timer could be set to any value from 1-255 seconds, but recommended value is 3 times the hello.
In Vrrp, we don't have that choice, rather setting the vrrp advertisements interval also set the master down timer.
For example, if i configure the vrrp advertisement interval to be 2 sec, it will set the master-down timer to 6 seconds. Is it correct?
thanks a lot!
