After UM5.0(1) upgrade Call Handlers missing transfer options

After upgrading from Unity Unified Messaging 4.0(5) with Exchange 2003 to 5.0(1) we starting hearing about zeroing out to operators from UM was failing. I've checked the call handlers in UM for several Call Handlers such as Operator, Operator, and Newark Operator. All of these are now missing the transfer number and have changed to “No send directly to greeting” for the transfer. These did have “yes, ring this extension” selected and an extension listed.

Problem Description:

When upgrading from 4.x to 5.x, settings for Standard and Closed Transfer rules for (non-Subscriber) Call Handlers may be overwritten with the settings from the Alternate Transfer rule. This may result in call transfer rules that were set to "Yes, ring this extension" before the upgrade to "No (Send Directly to Greeting) after the upgrade.

Workaround

a) Set the extension manually

b) Use the Bulk Edit tool

The fix is not available yet for 5.x or 7.x
