3rd party SIP phones.

Hi All,

We will be upgrading to CUCM 6.1 in the next 2 months. We are very much interested in implementing SIP on 3rd party IP Phones. Can anyone please provide me with some information on what other Non-Cisco IP phones are available in the market that is compatible to work with CUCM 6.1.

Thanks,

Naveen

adding in CM 7.X

I would encourage you to investigate 7.x. Ask your account manager about Cisco's rigorous testing and stability behind the 7.x release.

Linksys IP phones SPA 962/942are considered generic 3rd-party SIP phones by CUCM. You can configure them as "Basic" (single line) for 3 DLUs or "Advanced" (multi-line) for 6 DLUs.
