Cisco AP 1121 - repeater mode

HI!

Can Cisco AP 1121 act as repeater?

Yes it can.

But my question is - can I use this AP to connect to a wireless network via wireless, and then connect my PC to this AP, so I can access internet?

I hope you understand my question.

(I attached a picture).

Encryption used is WPA.

Please advise!

Hi gololicic,

You should be able to configure your access point to a be what's called a workgroup bridge. If you're using the web interface to configure the AP, it will be an option under "role in the radio network" on the Radio configuration page.

Give that a try and see if it works!

But can you now please help me on configuring security parametres?

The encryption used is WPA. Now I have to set a password and WPA server IP?
