Load Balance with ASA using RIP

Hi Guys,

a company asked me to do the following scenario,

2 routers connected to 2 different ISPs connected to layer 2 switch & they are using RIP, the switch should be connected to the ASA, and i suppose to configure the ASA using RIP dynamic routing instead of default route... (for outside)

any limitation or problems in this scenario?, i heard that using RIP on the ASA may make issues...

please advice..

as far as i know you cant run RIP on ASA, just OSPF.

Hi solpandor,

on PIX version 8 you can run RIP, so, by default ASA will be supporting RIP
