Issuing commands in the interface range command mode, I intermittently get a dump of the following repeated 24 times:

*Mar 1 00:35:30: -Traceback= 50030C 5008EC 502E28 47D0D8 461490 784414 784500 781410 781CC8 776570 7767B0 74F1A0 5A4E80 5A5070 8EDC2C 8E4900

*Mar 1 00:35:30: Assertion failed: (op_select->opSelectUseCount[bit_index]), file ../src-hulc/src-sasq/hl4op.c, line 1307

*Mar 1 00:35:30: -Traceback= 500344 5008EC 502E28 47D0D8 461490 784414 784500 781410 781CC8 776570 7767B0 74F1A0 5A4E80 5A5070 8EDC2C 8E4900

*Mar 1 00:35:30: Assertion failed: (op_select->numBitsUsed), file ../src-hulc/src-sasq/hl4op.c, line 1306

The CPU is spiked 100% during this event - but I didn't get which process. Also it isn't 100% reproducible - so far about 50%. Any ideas?

Sounds like a bug, open a TAC case, they can decode the traceback generated and should be able to identify the root cause.

Thank you Roberto.

BTW, a rough research found several bugs but the triggers are combo of interface range and removing adding service policy or qos. what I would suggest is to examine the port configuration on switches that is NOT generating tracebacks and the one that do generate tracebacks. compare the qos config any port feature maybe enabled on one and not the other. Hope that helps.
