Hi every body!

I want to know if radius protocol uses ip to carry its messages .


At which layer of osi radius operate?

RADIUS is in application layer.


What do you mean "if RADIUS uses ip to carry its messages"? Did you mean IP Protocol or IP Address?


Since RADIUS is in application layer, of course it needs IP Address (TCP/IP) to communicate. It can also use Netware
