Good evening experts!!
I currently have a fully functional 5.X Unified Messaging server running on Windows 2000 using an "off box" Exchange 2003 message store. I've just purchased a new server and I'm hoping this server can help me upgrade the existing server from 2000 to 2003 before one of them becomes the Failover server. Here is what I plan on doing:
Configure new server with Windows 2003 and Unity 5.X
Pull a DiRT backup of the production server (also Unity 5.X)
Restore to the new server
Take production server offline
Bring new server online
Upgrade production server to 2003 and reinstall Unity 5X as a Failover server.
Does anyone see anything wrong with this proceedure?
