Hello,
We have C6513 with Dual Sup 720 + MSFC3. There is one HSRP group configured on about 30 VLANs. On all the VLANs the HSRP shows that primary MSFC is the active and the second MSFC is standby except one group which shows active on both.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

You probably don't have an active path for that vlan between both 6500's .If so then both sides will think they are supposed to be the active side . What switch does the one vlan run thru ? Also check authentication passwords if any are used. Normally it is setup like this.
6500 --->userswitch ----> 6500

Thanks Glen the issue has been resolved. It was an ACL applied on the interface VLAN of 203.

Only that the hsrp active/standby packets are not being seen by both interfaces. Is there an access-list getting in the way?
Are you configured for preempt? If so, are the preempt parameters/standby number group set (not using the default setting)?
Are you using hsrp authentication?
