Multicast over VPN

Unanswered Question

Hi All,

Previosuly I had regular IPSec tunnels between my Cisco routers but I've changed that to IPSec/GRE tunnels because I need to send some non-unicast traffic through the tunnels...

The problem is that IPSec/GRE has to be statically configured on every router. DMVPN is a better option that I've been reading about, but I'm wondering about GetVPN... What are the real benefits on moving to a GetVPN solution?

Thank you all!

I have this problem too.

As far as I know, GETVPN does not pass multicast, besides GETVPN is only used on Internal WAN setup (MPLS), if you are going to use this over an Internet Cloud then your best shot is dmvpn. You should check the white sheets of each tech to see what's best for you
