Privilege command limitations?

Is it just a limitation that I can't set what interfaces are able to be configured? If I set "priv configure level 3 interface", they can get to all interfaces. I have a 3750 switch that doesn't support role-based security (IOS version I'm sure), but I need to give access to only a handful of ports to a couple of people.

As far as I know, we can not specify which interface could be configured or not. But we can use AAA server to control it.
