Hi Vannam,
This is a simple example:
conf t
service dhcp
ip dhcp pool MYPOOL
network 192.168.1.0 /24
This example will distribute ip addresses from the pool specified by the "network" command.

Hello Vanna,
it looks like is an issue of Win Vista OS
see
kb928233 on microsoft site
there is a procedure to change a key with regedit
There was a thread about this some mounths ago. someone said is solved installing service pack on Vista PC.
I've given a look at command reference
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipaddr/command/reference/iad_dhc3.html#wp1011584
I couldn't find a command to do that
Hope to help

Hi !
there is a way where we can edit windows registry and then it gets ip form router.
but what is the solution cisco provide for this issue as it's something to do with DHCP Broadcast/Unicast compatiblility with vista.
Microsoft work vista having problem with non-micrsoft DHCP servers only.
whether we can get any support from CISCO regarding this.?
thanx

Hello Vanna,
>> Microsoft work vista having problem with non-micrsoft DHCP servers only
they could have tested Vista in a multivendor environment...
the question is that RFCs contain suggestions, not everything is implemented and no other OS has used this option before.

Hi !
thanx for MS link to edit registry!
my question again is " whether cisco has any solution to this problem?" I mean any os update, and whether all cisco routers has the same issue with Vista clients?
is there any way we can ask Cisco to clarify on this issue!
thanx.
