Fixing Prompt Recording Software Settings to Cisco Supported Format

<br /><br />Can somebody suggest a software to record & save the prompt directly in Cisco format without having to set the format manually to Cisco supported format manually while saving.

<br /><br />

<br /><br />Is there any way I can fix the format of sound recorder using some registry keys for sound recorder or any other software to pick up automatically Cisco supported format while saving.

I have this problem too.

Two easy ways:

1) Use the Unity Media Master control on either PCA or Unity Administration. Record a prompt and then "Copy to file..." The file will be a G.711u WAV file (assuming Unity is set to G.711u).

2) Write a CCX script that makes a recording and uploads it to the prompt repository. There may be one already built in the "script repository":
