Hi

In our company we have implemeted Cisco Voip soulution. We have call manager 6.1 and cisco 2811 as VG and we have 2 telco for making calls. With one of the telco operators we have problem with number identification. When we recive calls the leading zeros are gone e.g 0704327811 we recive 704327811. How can i add this zero in front of incoming number in Cisco 2811 voice gateway not in the call manager. We use MGCP as protocol.

Hi,

You will have to do this within Cisco Callmanager.

The steps below is what you need to use

1. Create a xlation pattern in callmanager for all your extensions (DDI) eg if the last 4 digit of your extension is 42XX, then create a xlation pattern 42XX

2. On the xlation pattern set "prefix digit outgoing cals to "0" or "90" if you use 9 for outgoing calls.

3. Assing CSS to the xlation pattern..This CSS must have acces to all your internal phones.

4. Assign a PT to the Xlation pattern.

5. Assign a CSS to the gateway. Make sure that its only the partition of the xlation pattern that is in this CSS. This is very important!

Bingo! Thats it.

Atached is a doc which one of our old servers run on with this. In this our users have extensions 12XX.

If this is a problem with the called number, you would create a translation pattern that has a called party transformation mask with one less X than there are numbers.

If it's an issue with the calling number, you can use this service parameter:

Incoming Calling Party National Number Prefix - MGCP
