6500 Bootvar

The bootvar are not the same for the VSS 6500s. Specifically the CONFIG_FILE and BOOTLDR indicate "variable does not exist" on the active unit but show "=" on the standby. This VSS system is working ok but trying to figure out the differences and how to correct them.

(Is this an SP or ROMMON setting?) These are new units.

No this is not an issue. This statement means that the CONFIG_FILE variable is not set manually and will store the configurations on the NVRAM.

Thanks. I was just trying to get both sups to show the same thing. (Customer has another VSS where both switches show the same thing.)

Thank you again.
