SPA9000/400 issues

I am trying to install the SPA9000 with an SPA400 unit. I have 2 phones 1xSPA962 and 1xSPA942. I am running a mac with virtual PC ruinning XP. The setup wizard is not recognizing either the SPA9000 or the SPA400 on the network. I have an RVL200 Linksys router and an SRW208P Switch. Also, the setup wizard is telling me that I need to upgrade my firmware but when I try it is not allowing me to. Can someone please help?

yeah, what you have to do is download the user manual and read your butt off. I'm in a small business trying to set up the exact same thing except with about eight phones. The programs are garbage, you have to do everything manually. I would suggest first setting up each piece with a static... the 9000 and 400. Mine is like 192.168.1.60 (spa9000 ip) and .70 (the 400). From there you log into each peice and configure it using the manual. Its written well, but takes some getting used to. Good luck.
