PIX 501 Startup.html

Our PIX 501 has not been used in about a year. I want to configure it. I can get a login box when I go to https://192.168.1.1/startup.html. I leave the user name and password blank and then I get the "Wait while startup Wizard loads" But nothing happens. That is as far as I can get. I've tried using a Vista machine with IE 7, and an XP machine with IE 6. Both give the same result. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Do you have the light blue Cisco console cable and a laptop with a serial port? Connect it to the console port on the PIX, launch Hyperterminal (9600-8-N-1) and you're good to go. Default login should be pix/, then enable and for the password.
