MOH Audio Source File

Unanswered Question

hello,

version:

callmanager 4.1(3)

Background:

I'm currently testing one MOH audio source file(test.wav). we are going to make changes to the .wav file each week/month, but always keep the name the same. After submitting the new test.wav, it updates the MOH source file, but you manually have to go to MOH audio source configuration in CCM and click the specific audio source number. that's when you get the pop-up "A newer version of the MOH audio source appears to be available. click the update button to copy the newer files into the TFTP directory."

Are we limited w/our current version?

Thank you for any assistance.

I have this problem too.

Hello, we are testing similar scenarios. After updating the MOH source file, what happens if you stop/start the Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming service? Do you get the pop up after restarting the service? Or does the updated audio play? We're working on a solution for automated MOH updating.
