19 devices but I received 200+ pages??

I realize there is not event correlation in DFM, but I am curious why I have hundreds of pages on 19 devices that went down due to a wan link.

They just keep coming and coming, all have the same time and date. All events are the same (lot's of them for the same device)???? I know might be due to interfaces are managed, but I need to stop with all the pages.

Here you go Joe.

If the issue might be the "all" events. as you can see the options are all or none. ???? Does this mean all events are alerted on? If I choose none what impact will that have on alerts????

Chances are you want to uncheck the boxes under Alert Severity and Alert Status. The event notifications are the interesting ones. Alert notifications are very high-level, and do not contain the specific details about what went wrong.

If, on the other hand, you don't want to receive any EVENT notifications, then just uncheck the event boxes. The ALL only corresponds to events, not alerts.
