Security with WLC

when we confiure wlc for authentication using ACS server or 802.1x server then we have to configure the same authentication method on client device also under profile management of the cisco aironet desktop utility. but what happens when we r using intel or some other wireless client devices (eg. Laptops)

It should be the same as long as the devies support the encryption & authentication method you are using.

cisco aironet desktop utility can be used to configure most of the NIC card for 802.1x.

If you are not using ADU then u can use the windows built in supplicant to configure 802.1x, or if u are using intel supplicant they have their own way to configure. Googling for this 802.1x suppicant config should help you
