I would like to pass LMS 3.0 under a VmWare ESX virtualisation.

Do someone know if is there some specifics recommendations for installation of LMS 3.0 ?

The user guide lms30dmg.pdf mentions that VmWAre ESX 3.01 supports LMS 3.0 /Os Windows Standard 2003 and that's it.

If there anything else in terms of swap and disk space ? any faq for that ?

Does someone has an installation running already under this configuration ?

The LMS's customer is configured in Master /Slave settings for RME

LMS 3.0 is not supported under VMWare. You need to be running LMS 3.0.1 or higher.

As for sizing, it depend on the number of devices you will be supporting. With LMS 3.0.1, you can support up to 1500 devices on VMWare. The bare minimum hardware config for 1500 devices is a four-CPU server (3.66 GHz or better) with at least 5 GB of RAM (4 GB dedicated to LMS), 8 GB of swap, and 35 GB of free disk space. Windows 2003 Standard or Enterprise Editions are fine.

For better performance, LMS generally benefits from more memory, then more CPU.
