Community PVLAN on cat4500E with sup6

I tried to configure community PVLAN on a sup6 for catalyst 4506E.

In the configuration guide I found the following:

Supervisor Engine 6-E does not support community PVLAN and community PVLAN trunk ports.

Why is it so? Is there an alternative available?

No, it's not supported so far.

I don't know why. But it should be supported in the new release later this year.
