There are two "types" of IOS codes: Monolythic and Modular.

Regarding the 10GE blades:

WS-X6708-10GE

WS-X6704-10GE

WS-X6716-10GE

Both require SUP720 supervisor cards to work.

Each supervisor card (SUP720 or SUP32) has 2 10GE ports.
