ACS SE V4.2: exporting user list ?

Hello,

Is it possible from the GUI features available in the an ACS SE to export the users database to an ftp server ?

There are console commands like 'exportusers', -among others-, which allow to export a user list in a similar way of the csutil.exe of the windows version, but such commands seem to be available from the serial console only.

From the RDMS synchronization utility, is it possible to export a csv file to an ftp server with the user list and some other attributes by programming conveniently the accountactions.csv file?

After reading the documentation, such possibility remains uclear to me.

The problem is that the security manager would like to get a daily user list from the Cisco Secure ACS, in order to screen for new users or old users to be deleted.

Regards.

Albert.

Hi Albert

If you take a look at extraxi aaa-reports! and csvsync you'll be able to do what you need.

csvsync v3.0 can get the ACS server to export and download a support "package.cab" over http(s).

aaa-reports! can import the cab directly, then you can either use the canned reports or using our query builder, create a table of users, group names and many other ACS database attributes.

You can then export the query results to csv, xls etc.

Hi Darran,

Thank you for your answer.

Effectively, the extraxi aaa-reports seems a nice solution oriented to address such kind of needs.
