Unity 5.0: Set a Recovery Period for Deleted Voicemail

You can delete a voicemail message directly from your Cisco Unity inbox, or you can delete a voicemail message after you open it. Sometimes you can also retrieve a deleted voicemail message from the Deleted Items folder in your Cisco Unity inbox.

I have a document on doing it on Unity 4.x and exchange 2000, but I do not know how to do it on unity 5.0 and we have exchange 2007.

Please help...

In the Unity class of service object that users are assigned to you can set the option to copy messages that are deleted over the phone to the deleted items folder or not and if you have access to "clean" the deleted items folder via the phone conversation.

This doesn't auto age them or anything (you can use 3rd party tools or something like the Message Store Manager tool in the Tools Depot on the Unity desktop to setup such rules) - it's an either/or thing. MEssages are either deleted for good when you delete them over the phone or they care copied to the deleted items folder.
