Distribution list for Unity Conenction 2.1.0

Hi, I have a customer who wish to create a single list with many end users in the list. He wants to record a single message and send to all the users in the list. Is there a way to achieve the above in CUC 2.1.0? I created a distrubution list in CUC but could not figure out how to access the list in order to leave a message and send to all the users. Any ideas?

Hi Chandrasen,

This is most possible :) To send a message to the Distribution List , you will use the normal "Message Send" function via the Telephone interface;

To Send a Voice Message by Phone Using Touchtone Keys

Step 1 Log on to Cisco Unity Connection.

Step 2 Press 2.

Step 3 Record your message at the tone. Use the following keys as you record:

Step 4 When you are finished recording, press #.

Step 5 Follow the prompts to address your message. Press # # to switch between spelling and number entry

(**this is where you will mark the address to send to the newly created Distribution List).

Step 6 Press # to confirm the recipient.

Step 7 Press 1 to add another name or list.

Or

Press # to send the message.
