my strange problem is when I pick up my phone which is connected to my fxs port, I hear dialtone with out any noise..exactly when I try to dial a number and after pressing one digit strange noise will be heard.after the dialing is finished and when conversation will start the strange noise is lost.
Symptoms: An audible noise is present when the phone goes off-hook on a Foreign Exchange Service (FXS) port.
Conditions: This symptom is observed for any call made to an FXS phone.
Workaround: Disable caller ID under the FXS voice port.
