CCNA re certification

I visited CISCO website and I read this information about CCNA re certification:

CCNA Recertification

CCNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, either pass the current CCNA exam, or pass the ICND2 exam, or pass any 642 professional level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE written exam.

My CCNA, certification will expired this week, After tomorrow if I pass any 642 professional level exam, Will I be CCNA recertify?

Am I correct?

I have this problem too.

Any time you pass an equal level or higher Cisco Certification exam it resets the expiration date of everything else. In your example, yes your CCNA expiration date becomes the same as the expiration date of the 642 exam.
