Hi,

We have 2MB Link from Service-Provider terminated on a Router. The link is 2MB.

I configured the Interface with "Bandwidth" command so that MRTG gives me proper Utilization of incomming and outgoing traffic.

But it doesnt seems to give bandwidth.

Can someone help what could be wrong with it.

Interface fa 0/0

bandwidth 2048

Description connected to ISP

The bandwidth command sets an informational parameter to communicate only the current bandwidth to the higher-level protocols; you cannot adjust the actual bandwidth of an interface using this command.

Note This is a routing parameter only. It does not affect the physical interface.
