custom ringtones for specific phones

Hi,

Is there a way to create a distinctive ring list and assign it to specific group of phones? All we now have a company wide distinctive ring list which is set for all phones. our idea is to allow more rings for a group of users which is different from the company wide ring list.

Assign the users to different partitions and then create distinctive ring list. Partition is for making a group of telephone. Phone in the same partition can call each other. If you want to call a phone in another partition they must make a route pattern.

I am sorry mchine345 partitions and route patterns have nothing to do with ring tones.

To answer the question, it's not possible unless you define separate tftp servers for the phones.

One option is to use the phone Designer widget if you have CM 6 or higher and allow users to personalize their own:
