IP SLA stats vs Ping

Unanswered Question

I have noticed that ip sla's configured for udp jitter with a voice codec (g729) often report higher levels of latency and packet loss than an icmp-echo ip sla. Or even a manual ping between the hosts. I have seen instance where a ping reports round trip of 50ms but a voice ip sla reports 250ms....

I would like know whether this is normal in your experience?

I have this problem too.
