about recovery of Deleted Voicemail

Hi

I am trying to set a Recovery Period for Deleted Voicemail as per the below document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_configuration_example09186a008060d71e.shtml

I would just like to know is there any way to recover the deleted message via phone ( e.g. just call the voicemail pilot and check deleted message) instead of creating an outlook account and checking the deleted folder in outlook?

"Check Deleted messages are copied to the deleted items folder. If this option is not checked, there is no way to restore a lost message. If this option was checked, you can create an outlook

account for that subscriber in the Unity Server and you will see it in the Deleted Items folder. "

thanks

kind regards

Rachel

Hi Rachel,

Yes, this is possible :)

From Jeff Lindborg (the best!)

Checking Deleted Messages

You can play your deleted messages, just as you can play new and saved messages. You can also restore a deleted message as a new or saved message.

To Check Deleted Messages

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1 Call and log on to Cisco Unity.

Step 2 From the Main menu, choose the options Review Old Messages > Deleted Messages > Review Your Deleted Messages.

Step 3 Follow the prompts to manage a deleted message after you have listened to it.

Hope this helps!

**This is a great feature!

Hi Rob

It seems that some of the unity server with the same version 4.0(5) didn't have "message Store Manager Function" in Cisco Unity Tools Depot. is there any way to add it?

it seems that some unity server has this tool while some unity server doesnt.

Thanks

Kind regards

Rachel
