The C2960GL switch has 6 ASIC, each has 4G of bandwidth shared among 8 ports. Also, each ASIC has shared buffers (ingress of 192KB and egress of 384KB).
Are you sure the 4G bandwidth is shared among 8 ports? I thought there were 4 ports per ASIC.
