CCNA recertification but toward a CCNP track!

Hello all,


Please clarify something for me. I'm a current CCNA for about a year and half, and am wondering what exams I can take that

1) move me toward a CCNP path, or

2) certify me in wireless technology (I have some experience)


and yet extend my CCNA. Will taking any of the CCNP exams (for eg. BCSI, BCMSN etc.) be enough to get CCNA extended? Is there a similar path for wireless?

Yes by passing one of the CCNP exams it will recertify your CCNA. Far as I can tell there's not a Professional Level set of Wireless exams yet. They have created the CCNA Wireless and CCIE Wireless. I'm sure the Professional Wireless is on its way. Hopefully this link will spell out the current paths:
