8 Year Old ReCertification Question

Unanswered Question
Feb 11th, 2009

Hello,

I passed my CCNA back in July, 2000 and I am trying to re-certify myself. I see this:

"... To recertify, either pass the current CCNA exam, or pass the ICND2 exam, ..."

Does this mean that all I need to take is 640-816, ICND-2 exam, even for the old certificate like mine?

Thanks!

When your certification expires, it's as if you never had it ... you must take the entire CCNA curriculum and pass it to be (re)certified.

Good Luck

Scott

(NOTE: Will someone from CISCO PULEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASEEEEEEEE get that verbiage changed and clarify this point?!?!?! (dammit!))
