WLAN rearranges after failure

Information:

2xWLC(WiSM)version 4.2.130 2x6509 WCS 4.2.97.0

Scenario: When trying to simulate a failure of one pair of controllers all the LAP failover to the second pair of controllers, but the WLAN ids are all rearranged ie. if a LAP used WLAN 1 and 2 it's now trying to associate with WLAN 3 and 4

And then manual intervention is needed to correct the problem.

Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

Can you provide more information? From what you have said, if both wlc's are setup the same, I don't see why you would have this issue. One thing to remember is that when an ap moves from one wlc to another, it takes on the configuration of the new wlc. So if your wlan's are not in the same order, or if you are using wlan overrdie or ap groups, you must make sure that during a failover, the other wlc can support the function of the wlc that went down.

I started with one WLC and later added another. I will check exactly which WLAN's are on which WLC and also their id's.
