The ASA5505 was re-set to factory default configuration. Opened a browser with address https://192.168.1.1. A window pops asking for the username and password. What is the default username and password?

Thanks.

  • Cisco Employee,

since it is back to the default settings it should not have username and password, have you tried just hitting enter on this? if it does not work try a blank username and "pix" as a password.
