TRUNK - CCM 4.0 and CCM 7.0

Hi,

I'm doing a demo in the client and they already have CCM 4.0 and they will test CCM 7.0.

So, i have now some phones in CCM 4.0 and others in CCM 7.0.

I configured a trunk between CCM 4.0 and CCM 7.0.

When a call for a extension that is registered in CCM 7.0 arrives the CCM 7.0 pick this call and send to 4.0.

But i need that CCM 7.0 resolve this call and i don't know what is happening.

Tks,

Paula

you must be hitting a RP that goes to the CCM 4.x cluster, check the routing plan

you need to make sure you have route patterns associated with each intercluster trunk that allow for those DN patterns you are trying to share. the other key i ran into was making sure to use as specific of RPs as you can (when i tried to use 27XX instead of 2711, it didnt work for some reason), and you want to place the partition for these RPs at the top of the CSS order, so it doesnt get confused and sent somewhere else.
