hi all,is it possible for my adsl router to dial up and then bridge to the lan interface ? I want to have a public IP on my firewall that is inside the lan.

I'm not sure if the posted link will help you. Your original post implies that you have a router in front of your cisco router. If that's the case, you'll have to find out how to put your ADSL router in bridging mode. There are several manufacturers. I have a 2wire DSL modem that can't be bridged, but I forward everything to a DMZ interface which then passes my public address to my 871W. Everything works great.

The OP has a cisco ADSL router - see title "C800". The config for that is in the link I provided.
